Biografia

During the past 25 years she has created an extensive and diverse collection of colourful paintings. Her work is usually large in size and the colour scheme is basically warm, bright and sparkling. Intensive use of paint and minimisation of colour use are responsible for a layered texture and an abstract perspective.

About her inspiration she says: “life and its Axis Mundi do form an inexhaustible source if inspiration for me. In my opinion it asks for an abstract representation by the painter’s personal vision and creative use of techniques, rather than imitating the subject. Something what I continuously try to accomplish.”

Although various styles can be recognised in her work, the main categorisation in the last years is Lyrical Abstract Expressionism.
